ITBP Driver Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit : –

To apply for ITBP Constable Driver Recruitment 2024, Candidates age must be between 21 to 27 years. There is also age relaxation available for reserved category candidates as per the government rules.

Educational Qualification :-

Candidates must have completed matriculation or 10th standard from a recognised board or institute or any equivalent degree. With this candidates must possess a valid heavy driving license to be eligible for driver recruitment.

Selection Process for ITBP Constable (Driver) Recruitment 2024 :-

To qualify for Constable (Driver) recruitment in ITBP, candidates must need to go through the multiple stages including :

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :-

This is the first step where candidates need to complete a 1.6 KM race within 7 minutes and 30 seconds, 11 feet long jump (in 3 chances) and 3.5 feet high jump (in 3 chances).

The PET test is qualifying in nature and no marks will be awarded for the test. Candidates who select in this stage will move to the second stage of the recruitment process.

Physical Standard Test (PST) :-

Candidates who have qualified the PET test will be screened for the Height, Weight and Chest measurement. Those who do not meet the required physical measurement as applicable will be eliminated at this stage.

Written Test :-

Those candidates who have cleared the PET and PST Test will be eligible for the written test. This is a Computer-Based-Test and exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions of a total of 100 marks. This exam test the candidates knowledge on General Knowledge, Mathematics, Hindi, English and Trade Related Theory Question.

Document Verification :-

Candidates who have qualified the written test, to the tune of 10 times category-wise vacancies will be called to appear for verification of original documents (Documentation) on the basis of marks secured in written examination. This stage check candidates the proof of documents like education qualification, Category certificate and other important documents.

PRACTICAL SKILL TEST :-

This test is conducted for candidates who have passed the document verification round. This test consists of 50 marks and qualifying marks for all candidates (irrespective of categories) shall be 50%.

Medical Examination :-

Those candidates who have passed the practical skill test will undergo a medical examination to prove their medical fitness. Candidates who will qualify this stage will be shortlisted for final merit list.
