The Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) is an important exam for those aspiring candidates who want a job in government schools of Jharkhand. This recruitment drive is conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC).
Candidates who qualify the JTET Exam to be eligible to apply for recruitment of teaching positions in the state. So Jharkhand TET exam is crucial for candidates to move one step ahead to become a government teacher in the state.
The online application process for this recruitment was begun from 23 July to 30 August 2024. Now candidates are waiting for the release of exam date and admit card. As per the official, the exam will be held in October and admit cards will be released in September Month.

Selection Process for JTET Exam 2024 :-
The Jharkhand TET exam consists of two papers (Paper I & Paper II).Paper I will be conducted for those candidates who want to teach classes I to V and Paper II for those who wish to teach classes VI to VIII. Candidates who want to teach for classes I to VIII, they need to appear for both papers. The final merit list will be prepared according to the candidates score obtained in JTET exam. Candidates who qualified JTET exam will be eligible to be apply for teaching positions in the state as per their preference.
JTET Exam Pattern 2024 : –
The exam pattern for JTET follows as below : –
- The mode of the papers are offline.
- Each paper consists of 150 questions.
- 1 mark assigned to each question.
- No mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer.
- Time duration for each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- The language of the papers are bilingual i.e Hindi & English.

JTET Admit Card Information 2024 :
Admit card is a crucial document for candidates that must bring to the examination center. As per the official, admit card will be released 10 days before the exam and is expected to release by the end of this month. Once official released the admit card, a direct link will be activated at the end of the article, allowing candidates to download directly. Alternatively, they can download it from the official website of JCI i.e. jac.jharkhand.gov.in.

How to Download JTET Admit Card 2024?
- First go to the official website of JCI :- jac.jharkhand.gov.in
- Next, navigate to the admit card section and click on it.
- Now, search for the link “JTET Admit Card 2024” and click on it.
- It will redirect to a new tab, enter your registration number and password.
- Now, enter the captcha and click on the “Submit” button.
- Your admit card is displayed on the screen.
- Review your admit card carefully and download it.
- Take a print out of it for future usages.
